Bridge Information
The Cohanzick Zoo is a fun little zoo in southern New Jersey that is free to enter. There is a circa 1958 stringer covered bridge right near the entrance. A stinger covered bridge is a standard stringer bridge, with a decorative wooden cover added, as opposed to a true covered bridge which typically uses a wooden truss as the load bearing element. This bridge was closed off, and did not look like it was being maintained.
