Bridge Information
The Flat Rock Footbridge is a pedestrian footbridge in the Cornell Botanical Gardens. The original bridge at this location was washed out in 1983, and it was re-built by the Cornell student chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers. In 2023, the bridge was renovated by the the current student chapter of ASCE. This renovation included replacing the wooden decking and railings, painting the towers, and inspecting all the components.
