Bridge Information
The original Petticoate Lane Bridge was a Pratt through truss that was built in 1884. The bridge was dismantled in 2010 and was listed for sale. It does not appear that anyone ever purchased the bridge and it’s fate is unclear. The new bridge is a bolt-connected pony warren truss, which appears to use galvanized steel. It does not mimic the look or feel of the original bridge.
