Bridge Information

The Saucon Suspension Bridge is a small pedestrian bridge in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The bridge was built by the Works Project Administration sometime around 1935 as part of Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s New Deal, along with the Monocacy Park Suspension Bridge. The bridge was part of the construction of Saucon Park.

The bridge features two 40 foot tall towers made from hand-cut stones that were quarried in Bethlehem and cut by local craftsmen.
