Bridge Information
The Lake Como-Hancock Bridge, commonly referred to as the Hancock Bridge, is a Warren through truss bridge. It crosses the West Branch of the Delaware River and connects New York and Pennsylvania. The bridge was originally built in 1937, and it was rehabilitated in 2004.
This is a bistate bridge which connects New York and Pennsylvania. The Warren Truss design matches the NYSDOT standard details from that time, whereas Pennsylvania was typically using a Parker Truss. Therefore, this bridge was most likely designed and constructed by New York.
